For two years, I oversaw the copy production for product descriptions on Nike.com, spanning a wide breadth of product categories including Nike training, young athletes, licensed products, and more. My team and I crafted copy for performance apparel, footwear, accessories, and equipment and demonstrated an impressive command of Nike product knowledge.
When Hurley launched on Nike.com, I helped set the precedent for product descriptions and oversaw copy production. Known for their wetsuits and boardshorts, Hurley copy requires an in-depth knowledge of performance fabrications, design details, and technologies.
When Converse launched on Nike.com, I played a key role in onboarding the brand and set the precedent for voice, tone, and style. The challenge was to differentiate the Converse voice from the Nike voice with subtle nuances so that the two iconic brands could coexist on the same site.
My team and I created on-brand product descriptions for jockey.com and its wholesale divisions as part of a complete digital refresh. As a result of our optimized copy and updated imagery, in 2017 Jockey saw its most successful Black Friday ever in its over 130-year history.
Over the years, I’ve also contributed to omnichannel campaigns through copy for emails, packaging, print, web, social media, direct mail, and point of sale for Jockey.
My team and I brought the HUE brand's energetic spirit to life through product descriptions, digital copy, and HUE brand-store copy on amazon.com. Through extensive research on Amazon-specific copywriting, I led my team to create search-optimized copy that differed from the e-commerce copy to maximize sales on both platforms. In addition, I’ve created digital and Amazon A+ Content copy for HUE.
3M challenged us to create consumer-friendly, conversational copy across multiple brands within the 3M divisions including Health and Safety, Household Goods and Personal Safety. Along with my team, I create fresh, search-optimized product descriptions and digital copy for existing styles as well as innovation styles for over twenty 3M brands. This conversational-style copy is leveraged across many of 3M brand's retail channels including Amazon, The Home Depot, Walmart, and proprietary 3M sites.
Along with my team, I create product descriptions for several Kellogg Company brands from Rice Krispies to Cheez-It. I led my team in learning to craft Amazon-optimized product descriptions that lead to higher search rankings and conversion rates for the client. Since an overall digital refresh of both imagery and search-optimized copy, Kellogg Company saw significant sales gains across their many categories. Our work also earned us the title of Agency of Record for Kellogg Company.
In addition to crafting copy for the consumer-facing Kellogg Digital Shelf, my team and I create packaging copy, Amazon A+ Content, and product-description copy for Kellogg Company’s B2B channels.
Along with the photo, account, and IT departments, I onboarded Walmart and managed the copy production for several private-label categories on walmart.com including furniture and household goods.
